Step 1: Check availability
A few plots are usually unrented. To learn about them, either:

- fill in the Garden Interest Form and mail to Juneau Community Garden, PO Box 033395, Juneau, AK 99803.
When a plot becomes available, you will be notified and assigned a plot number.
Send no money until you have a plot assignment.
Step 2: Review Operating Rules

Step 3: Send Application and Pay Fees
- Include $35 (payable to Juneau Community Garden) for each 10'x20' plot, and $5 for each climbing bed.

Step 4: Attend Garden Orientation
May 4
Potluck brunch in the Pavilion at 10 AM.
Tour and introduction to JCG rules and resources at 11 AM.

REQUIRED FOR ALL NEW GARDEN MEMBERS
Step 5: Perform Community Service
Five hours of volunteer work are required for each 10'x20' plot.
Find a list of service opportunities here.
Step 6: Start Gardening
Current members must begin working their plots by June 15.
Unworked plots will be reassigned, so more plots may become available at that time.
